Description
About the Product
The Lauritz Knudsen AU HR MCB Auxiliary TAC Contact 24V DC 1NO + 1NC is a modular accessory designed to enhance the functionality of high rating (HR) miniature circuit breakers. It provides tripping indication, auxiliary signaling, & control feedback for electrical systems.
This accessory includes one normally open (1NO) & one normally closed (1NC) contact, allowing it to be integrated into control panels, automation systems, & remote monitoring applications. It is widely used in industrial & commercial installations requiring precise control & reliable feedback from protective devices.
How the TAC Contact Works
The TAC (Tripping Auxiliary Contact) operates in direct coordination with the MCB:
• Mechanically linked with the HR MCB
• Changes contact status based on breaker ON/OFF or trip condition
• 1NO contact closes when the MCB is ON
• 1NC contact opens simultaneously
• Sends signals to control circuits & automation systems during tripping events
This allows accurate monitoring & control of circuit breaker operations.
