Description
About the Product
The Lauritz Knudsen CM97785OOOO is a 3-pole spreader terminal accessory, designed for MCCBs rated up to 100A across multiple series including DU100D, DU100H, DY125U, & DN0. This accessory enhances cable connection flexibility, improves current distribution, & simplifies installation in electrical systems.
Spreader terminals are engineered to allow termination of larger cables or multiple conductors, making them highly suitable for installations where space constraints or wiring complexity is present. By expanding the connection interface, they improve electrical contact quality & reduce connection stress, resulting in better performance & long-term reliability.
This accessory is particularly useful in distribution boards, switchgear panels, & control systems, where efficient cable routing & secure connections are critical. It is designed for seamless compatibility with specified MCCB series, enabling quick installation without complex modifications.
The spreader terminals also help in achieving uniform current distribution across terminals, reducing hotspots & improving overall electrical system efficiency.
This product is ideal for applications requiring enhanced cable termination, flexible wiring configurations, & improved installation efficiency.
How the Mechanism Works
The switching contacts carry normal current & open when the trip system detects an overload or short-circuit condition, interrupting the fault path.
Electrical Configuration
Choose the stated pole configuration & current, voltage, & breaking-capacity ratings to match the circuit & its prospective fault level.
Construction & Design
A compact insulating body integrates the operating mechanism, contacts, arc-control components, terminals, & trip elements for reliable circuit protection.
Safety & Protection
Provides circuit isolation & overcurrent protection when correctly selected, coordinated, installed, & operated within its published ratings.
Mounting & Durability
Install on the applicable DIN rail or panel system with secure conductors, correct torque, & adequate enclosure clearance for repeated operation.
Application Domains
Suitable for power distribution & circuit protection in residential, commercial, industrial, infrastructure, & OEM panels.
