Description
About the Product
The Lauritz Knudsen CM97921OOOO is a 4-pole spreader terminal accessory, designed for MCCBs rated up to 100A across DU100D, DU100H, DY125U, & DN0 series. This accessory enhances cable connection flexibility, improves current distribution, & supports efficient panel wiring in electrical systems.
Unlike 3-pole variants, the 4-pole configuration includes an additional neutral terminal, allowing complete phase & neutral connectivity. This is especially important in systems that require full circuit isolation & balanced current distribution across all conductors.
Spreader terminals are engineered to allow termination of larger cross-section cables or multiple conductors, making them highly suitable for installations with space constraints or complex wiring layouts. They help reduce cable congestion, improve connection reliability, & ensure uniform current flow, minimizing the risk of hot spots & connection failures.
Designed for seamless integration with compatible MCCB series, this accessory ensures easy installation without requiring modifications, while improving accessibility for cable connections during panel assembly & maintenance.
This product is ideal for applications requiring enhanced wiring flexibility, full pole connectivity, & improved electrical safety in distribution systems.
How the Mechanism Works
The switching contacts carry normal current & open when the trip system detects an overload or short-circuit condition, interrupting the fault path.
Electrical Configuration
Choose the stated pole configuration & current, voltage, & breaking-capacity ratings to match the circuit & its prospective fault level.
Construction & Design
A compact insulating body integrates the operating mechanism, contacts, arc-control components, terminals, & trip elements for reliable circuit protection.
Safety & Protection
Provides circuit isolation & overcurrent protection when correctly selected, coordinated, installed, & operated within its published ratings.
Mounting & Durability
Install on the applicable DIN rail or panel system with secure conductors, correct torque, & adequate enclosure clearance for repeated operation.
Application Domains
Suitable for power distribution & circuit protection in residential, commercial, industrial, infrastructure, & OEM panels.
