Description
About the Product
Exora MCB 32A SP 240V AC 10kA C Curve is a miniature circuit breaker designed to protect electrical circuits from overload & short circuit conditions. It is suitable for residential, commercial, & light industrial applications where inductive loads are present.
How the Mechanism Works
The MCB operates using a thermal magnetic protection mechanism. The thermal element reacts to overload conditions over time, while the magnetic mechanism provides instantaneous tripping during short circuit faults. The C curve tripping characteristic allows higher tolerance for inrush currents compared to B curve.
Electrical Configuration
This is a single pole (SP) MCB rated at 32A current, suitable for 240V AC systems, with a 10kA breaking capacity. It features a C curve tripping characteristic, making it ideal for circuits with moderate inrush current such as motors, compressors, & inductive loads.
• Safety / protection aspects
• The MCB ensures safe operation by disconnecting power during overload or short circuit conditions. It protects wiring, appliances, & electrical systems while minimizing risks of equipment damage & fire hazards.
Construction & Design
A compact insulating body integrates the operating mechanism, contacts, arc-control components, terminals, & trip elements for reliable circuit protection.
Safety & Protection
Provides circuit isolation & overcurrent protection when correctly selected, coordinated, installed, & operated within its published ratings.
Mounting & Durability
Designed for DIN rail mounting, the breaker allows easy installation in distribution boards & electrical panels. Its robust construction ensures long-lasting reliability & consistent performance under load conditions.
Application Domains
Suitable for residential & commercial applications such as air conditioners, motor circuits, pumps, compressors, & general power distribution systems requiring reliable protection.
