Description
About the Product
Exora MCB 63A TP 415V AC 10kA C Curve is a triple pole miniature circuit breaker designed to protect three-phase electrical circuits from overload & short circuit conditions. It is ideal for high-load industrial, commercial, & power distribution systems requiring dependable protection.
How the Mechanism Works
The MCB operates using a thermal magnetic protection mechanism. The thermal element responds to overload conditions across each phase over time, while the magnetic mechanism provides instantaneous tripping during short circuit faults. All three poles disconnect simultaneously to ensure complete circuit isolation & fault protection.
Electrical Configuration
This is a triple pole (TP) MCB rated at 63A current, suitable for 415V AC three-phase systems, with a 10kA breaking capacity. It features a C curve tripping characteristic, making it ideal for circuits with moderate to high inrush current such as large motors, compressors, & heavy inductive loads.
• Safety / protection aspects
• The triple pole design ensures simultaneous disconnection of all three phases, significantly enhancing safety during fault conditions, operation, & maintenance. It protects wiring, machinery, & electrical systems while minimizing risks of electrical hazards & fire.
Construction & Design
A compact insulating body integrates the operating mechanism, contacts, arc-control components, terminals, & trip elements for reliable circuit protection.
Safety & Protection
Provides circuit isolation & overcurrent protection when correctly selected, coordinated, installed, & operated within its published ratings.
Mounting & Durability
Designed for DIN rail mounting, the breaker allows easy installation in three-phase distribution boards & control panels. Its heavy-duty construction ensures reliable long-term performance under high-load industrial conditions.
Application Domains
Suitable for industrial & commercial applications such as large motors, compressors, HVAC systems, pump systems, control panels, & main three-phase power distribution circuits.
