Description
About the Product
Exora MCB 6A DP 240V AC 10kA C Curve is a double pole miniature circuit breaker designed to protect electrical circuits from overload & short circuit conditions. It is ideal for control circuits, residential applications, & systems requiring full isolation with moderate inductive loads.
How the Mechanism Works
The MCB operates using a thermal magnetic protection mechanism. The thermal element responds to overload conditions over time, while the magnetic mechanism ensures instantaneous tripping during short circuit faults. In double pole configuration, both phase & neutral are disconnected simultaneously for complete protection.
Electrical Configuration
This is a double pole (DP) MCB rated at 6A current, suitable for 240V AC systems, with a 10kA breaking capacity. It features a C curve tripping characteristic, making it suitable for circuits with moderate inrush current such as small motors, relays, & inductive loads.
• Safety / protection aspects
• The double pole design ensures complete isolation of phase & neutral, improving safety during operation & maintenance. It protects wiring, devices, & control systems while minimizing risk of electrical hazards.
Construction & Design
A compact insulating body integrates the operating mechanism, contacts, arc-control components, terminals, & trip elements for reliable circuit protection.
Safety & Protection
Provides circuit isolation & overcurrent protection when correctly selected, coordinated, installed, & operated within its published ratings.
Mounting & Durability
Designed for DIN rail mounting, the breaker ensures quick & easy installation in distribution boards & control panels. Its robust construction ensures reliable long-term performance.
Application Domains
Suitable for residential & commercial applications including control panels, small motor circuits, automation systems, & electrical installations requiring dual-line isolation.
