Ahmednagar Manufacturing
Ahmednagar Switchgear Works (ASW): A Cornerstone of Innovation and Sustainability
Established in 1984, ASW is India's largest electrical manufacturing facility, sprawling over 1.58 million square meters. As a vital part of our operations, it employs close to 3,000 individuals and accounts for half of our Electrical Standard Product sales, producing FDPs, Contactors & Relays, Starters, Controllers, BBT, SDF & COS, and Wiring Devices.
Our Ahmednagar campus boasts state-of-the-art production facilities for critical components like PMR, Electromagnets, Plating, and Brazing. It features cutting-edge quality labs, a product testing facility, and a Gurukul for workmen training. Environmental sustainability is paramount with a Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), and a rooftop solar system that generates 22% of our energy usage, aiming to increase to 50%.
The factory has garnered numerous accolades, including the Deming Award and TPM Excellence Award, underscoring our commitment to quality and community well-being.

Coimbatore Manufacturing
Coimbatore (CMBT) Factory: Leading Innovation in Low Voltage Systems
Established in 2007 and sprawling over 121.6K square meters, our Electrical Systems & Equipment (CMBT) Factory is India’s Centre of Excellence for Low Voltage Switchboards. With 580 skilled employees, we manufacture custom-built Power Control Centers, Motor Control Centers, Distribution Boards, and Intelligent Communication Panels.
Honoured with the IMC RBNQ Performance Excellence Trophy (2020), NAMC Silver Medal (2023), and the AatmaNirbhar Factory Award, the CMBT Factory exemplifies cutting-edge manufacturing with state-of-the-art machinery and practices. Key facilities include a NABL accredited lab, automated powder coating systems, and a comprehensive Skill Development Centre.
Prioritizing environmental sustainability, the factory features a Sewage and Effluent Treatment Plant ensuring zero discharge, nearly 5000 trees, and a rooftop solar system providing 28% of our energy, targeting 60% in the near future.

Vadodara Switchgear Works (VSW): A Leader in Electrical Manufacturing
Vadodara Switchgear Works, known as VSW, is a cornerstone of LK's operations in India, spanning 17 acres. Operational since 2012, this facility is distinguished by several National and International awards, including the prestigious Deming Award and TPM Excellence Award.
VSW is instrumental in LK's success, producing Moulded Case Circuit Breakers, Air Circuit Breakers, and advanced electronic products like Intelligent Motor Management Relays and Solar Drives. The factory boasts a robust output with a capacity of 2 million MCCBs, 60,000 ACBs, and 100,000 electronic products annually, supported by 2,000 dedicated employees, contributing to nearly 30% of ESP's Sales.
The facility features comprehensive manufacturing capabilities, a world-class Tool Room, and a Fully Automated Silver Plating Plant. VSW adheres to Zero discharge compliance, incorporates a rainwater harvesting pond, and a rooftop solar power facility fulfilling 35% of its energy needs, underscoring its commitment to sustainability and employee welfare.
