Description
- Lauritz Knudsen MO C Capacitor Duty Contactors are specially designed for capacitor switching applications.
- As capacitor switching is associated with high inrush current, the contactors are provided with damping resistors which limit the value of inrush current to a safe value.
- The contactors are used in APFC panels for switching power capacitors depending upon the amount of reactive power compensation required.
- The MO C contactors are 3-pole contactors are of the block type design - Control circuit: AC operated and suitable for 50/60Hz frequency - Accessories: a wide range of accessories is available.

- For Lauritz Knudsen MCBs & Isolators mounted inside Lauritz Knudsen Distribution Boards, an extended warranty of 5 years is provided.
- In the event of a defect due to faulty workmanship or other associated reasons, the manufacturer will, at its discretion, remedy the defect or replace the faulty parts or the entire product as soon as possible, free of cost.
- This warranty is subject to proper usage and efficient maintenance and does not cover defects arising from fire, accidents, inefficient maintenance, faulty operation, or deliberate or accidental damage.
- The warranty does not cover damage to power electronic components such as thyristors & IGBTs, which primarily fail due to over-temperature or over-voltage. Users must take adequate precautions to eliminate such conditions.
- The manufacturer shall not be responsible or liable for any special, incidental, social, or consequential losses (including loss of profits), punitive damages, injury, or damages of any kind solely attributable to defect or failure of its products.
- The manufacturer shall not be liable in any manner for issues related to or failure in the performance of any other equipment to which the product is connected.
