Description
About the Product
The Three Phase Fully Automatic Star Delta Starter is a motor control & protection device designed for starting & operating three phase induction motors using reduced voltage starting.
It automatically changes from star connection to delta connection after a preset time interval, reducing starting current & minimizing mechanical stress on the motor & connected equipment. It is suitable for pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, conveyors, & industrial machinery requiring controlled motor starting.
How the Star Delta Starter Works
This starter provides efficient & controlled motor starting through an automatic transition process:
• Starts the motor in star configuration with reduced voltage
• Minimizes inrush current during startup
• Reduces mechanical stress on the motor & driven equipment
• Automatically changes to delta configuration after a preset interval
• Enables efficient motor operation at full load conditions
• Improves overall system reliability & motor performance
Star-delta starters are widely used for larger motors where direct-on-line starting may cause excessive current draw & voltage drops.
