Description
About the Product
Exora MCB 25A SP 240V AC 10kA B Curve is a miniature circuit breaker designed to protect electrical circuits from overload & short circuit conditions. It is widely used in low voltage distribution systems for residential & commercial installations.
How the Mechanism Works
The MCB uses a thermal magnetic tripping mechanism. The thermal element protects against overload conditions, while the magnetic mechanism provides instantaneous tripping during short circuit faults, ensuring safe circuit disconnection.
Electrical Configuration
This is a single pole (SP) MCB rated at 25A current, suitable for 240V AC systems, with a 10kA breaking capacity. It features a B curve tripping characteristic, ideal for circuits with low to moderate inrush currents.
• Safety / protection aspects
• The MCB provides reliable protection against overload & short circuit faults, preventing wiring damage & reducing fire risks. It ensures safe operation of electrical systems & connected equipment.
Construction & Design
A compact insulating body integrates the operating mechanism, contacts, arc-control components, terminals, & trip elements for reliable circuit protection.
Safety & Protection
Provides circuit isolation & overcurrent protection when correctly selected, coordinated, installed, & operated within its published ratings.
Mounting & Durability
Designed for standard DIN rail mounting, the breaker allows quick installation in distribution boards. Its robust construction ensures long-lasting & dependable performance.
Application Domains
Suitable for residential & commercial electrical systems including power circuits, socket outlets, & medium-load appliances.
